EMS Protocol Builder

Build a smarter EMS session in seconds. Choose your goal, training level, body area, and muscle build to get suggested pulse, work/rest timing, ramp, recovery, and session duration.

Formula logic: goal + training status + body area + muscle build = frequency, pulse width, work/rest cycle, ramp timing, duration, and intensity cap.

Enter values and click Calculate. This estimates a conservative EMS starter protocol, not a medical prescription.

⚠ Educational use only. Stop if stimulation feels painful, sharp, dizzying, irregular, crampy, or causes skin irritation.

Body area starting presets

Use these as public-facing education ranges. The calculator adjusts them based on goal and experience.

Body area General intensity Best use Notes
Full body Lower to moderate Fitness, conditioning, cardio Keep conservative because total fatigue adds up fast.
Glutes Higher tolerance Strength, shape, conditioning Large muscle group, usually handles stronger contractions.
Quads Moderate to high Strength, cardio, conditioning Strong contractions can fatigue legs quickly.
Hamstrings Moderate Strength, warm up Increase slowly to avoid cramping.
Abs / core Moderate Fitness, conditioning Avoid during pregnancy or recent abdominal surgery unless cleared.
Back Moderate Warm up, strength, posture support Do not place stimulation directly over the spine unless the suit is designed for it.
Calves Lower to moderate Warm up, circulation, conditioning Cramp-prone. Use longer rest periods.
Arms / shoulders Lower Warm up, strength support Smaller muscles usually need less intensity.
Chest Low and cautious Only manufacturer-approved use Avoid current paths across the heart.
